CHILDREN at Colwall CE Primary School will burn a look-a-like Guy of deputy head Dave Mountain at a bonfire night celebration.
Mr Mountain got more than he bargained for when he told pupils he and Guy Fawkes went to the same York school.
The Guy carries Mr Mountain's trademark guitar and is the first in the school's history to resemble a serving member of staff.
Mr Mountain said: ''It'll be a bit unnerving to see myself go up in flames and it certainly brings a whole new meaning to the saying 'become a teacher and light up children's lives'.''
COLWALL: The primary school's bonfire and firework spectacular has two big firework displays, a themed Bonfire Art Zone, featuring an exhibition of pupils' work, a sparkler zone, bar and barbecue, including mulled wine and soup. The event is on Saturday, November 5, at the school and will open at 6pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm with firework displays at 6.30pm and 7.15pm. Admission is £3.50 adults, £2 children.
