Hereford Sixth Form College will represent the county at the West of England Counties tournament next month after carrying off the Herefordshire under-18 competition.
The tournament's crucial match proved to be a fiercely competitive clash with Hereford Cathedral School when, after some excellent attacking hockey from both sides, Cat Davies put away a Becky Edwards cross for the only goal of the game.
In their other matches, the college drew 0-0 with John Masefield High School and defeated Minster College 2-0, with Davies netting both goals.
