The Snack-A-Tack sandwich shop, the hardest-hit business during the Onion Fayre flooding on September 10, has bounced back.
On Monday, the Broad Street business opened its doors again after a £10,000 refit, exactly a month after six inches of water came bursting in.
Owner Cheryl Brown said the shop needed to be completely refitted, after an extensive drying out process. There are new counters, breakfast bar, chairs and kitchen units.
Mrs Brown said: "I was heartbroken when the flood occurred, on what should have been our best day of the year. But we were always determined to come back."
Mrs Brown is still calculating how much business was lost in the month her shop remained closed.
