THANKS to another year's grant from the Local Network Fund, the Children in Divorce project can offer counselling to more children and young people who are resident in the more rural areas of Herefordshire.
This service is unique as it helps both children and parents following divorce and separation.
It involves both parents, if at all possible, to help them support their children, who may be distressed or confused when their mum and dad split up.
Counselling is offered at Hereford and Leominster for all families in rural areas and usually lasts for six sessions.
Children in Divorce is a charity, independent of social services or the courts and parents can usually be seen quickly for their initial meeting with a counsellor. For more details, call 01432 264087 and talk to Gill or Delia.
