THE date has been set for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of shareholders of Hereford-based Wyevale Garden Centres.
The EGM has been demanded by Laxey Partners (UK), a major shareholding in the group, who are calling for the removal of chairman David Williams and two other directors.
In a letter to shareholders, the board is recommending a vote against the removal of the three directors and warn that if it is passed, other members may resign.
It will be held in London on Monday, September 12.
