Ledbury Choral Society has a new musical director, Malcolm Macleod.
Mike Kent-Davies, who has been the choir's musical director for eight years, will be moving to Kent this autumn, where he and his wife, Lisa, will take up senior teaching posts.
Mr Kent-Davies will be leaving a very busy schedule behind him.
As head of music at The Chase school, Mr Kent-Davies ran four choirs and two brass bands, as well as playing trombone for Tarrington Brass.
Mr Macleod works at QinetiQ in Malvern and has a long association with Cambridge Philharmonic Society, both as a singer and as musical director.
He also brings considerable experience as a church organist and choirmaster.
The choir is now busy rehearing for a concert in Ledbury Methodist Church on October 8.
