FOR many years the Rotary Club of Hereford Wye Valley has supported Blackmarston and Barrs Court Schools. Both schools provide education for children with special learning needs.
During this long association, the members of the Rotary Club have admired the work of the staff of both schools. In recognition of this work at a recent club meeting the members presented to Sian Bailey, Head teacher of Blackmarston School, and to Richard Aird, Headteacher of Barrs Court School, Rotary International Centenary Community Certificates for outstanding vocational service to the community together with cheques by way of club donations presented to both schools.
