FIVE new records were set by Minster College athletes at the Leominster school's 34th annual sports day.
Two were achieved by Suzanne Platford in Year 9 events.
She cleared 1.44m in the high jump to break a 16-year-old record and threw the javelin 28.92m to beat the previous best of 1995.
Also in Year 9, Chelsea Tolley clocked 5.51 mins for 1500m to beat the previous record set in 1998 and Nick Aldrick cleared 5.31m in the long jump to better the 1993 measure.
The other record came in Year 8 from Alex Beaumont. He put the shot 10.29m to end the previous best set 11 years ago.
