VISITORS to the Elan Valley are to get the chance to take Ranger-led tours of the reservoirs, picturesque villages and wild landscape thanks to Welsh Water.
They start on Saturday with a walk that takes in the Caban Coch Dam and village, starting at 2pm. On Sunday there is a three-mile walk, starting at 6.30pm, from the Llannerch y Cawr car park.
Next Tuesday, there is the chance to go through the Pen y Garreg Dam as part of an open day between 1pm and 4pm.
Then on July 30, at 2pm, there is a Dam Busters walk.
The day after is a walk, starting at 2pm, from Pont ar Elan that will provide an opportunity to see plants including the rare bog orchid.
