A FAMILY gathering covering almost the entire 20th century was held in north Herefordshire on Saturday.
Edith Brinkley, from Cock Gate near Leominster, who, at nearly 93, was born in the century's first decade met, for the first time, her great- grandson, Nathan Lear, who was born on December 31, 1999.
Filling in the middle ground were Edith's son, Neale Brinkley, and his daughter, Alison Lear, Nathan's mum.
Also representing the fourth generation were Nathan's sister, two-and-a-half-year-old Larissa Mary.
