RUN - The Crocodile Run will be on Sunday, June 4, at 3pm from Burghill CP School. This popular event will cover a certified course of eight miles of orchards and lanes around Crocodile Wood, near Burghill, and Tillington. Once again, this will be an event for all the family, with the fun run starting at 3.15pm. A Scottish piper will start the proceedings, a drum band will be in the orchards and St Mary's Church Choir will be at the church. There will be a commentary and the race will be followed by a party and barbecue at the Bell Inn, Tillington, for the whole family starting at 5pm. Admission is £4 on the day, fun runners £1, and everyone will get a memento of the day's events. The event is in support of the fund for the school hall at Burghill School, and interested runners are asked to contact Paddy Nugent at 01432 760832 to register.
