THE Leicester team, under the management of ex-England player Dusty Hare, proved too strong for Luctonians as the North Herefordshire side completed their season with this annual fixture.
A slick threequarters move gave Luctonians the lead when Gareth Lewis burst through to score but Leicester hit back immediately.
Space created by the visiting backs produced a try in the corner and three further touch-downs in 10 minutes, two of which were converted, gave a comfortable 24-5 half-time margin.
Five minutes into the second half Leicester went over again with an overlap move and a dropped pass gifted another score to the visitors after 65 minutes.
James Owen rewarded Luctonians for a good spell of play when he went in under the posts but the conversion was missed and Leicester scored a try in response after a five-metre scrum.
However, it was the home side who completed the scoring when Wayne Mills squeezed over in the corner in the closing minutes.
Luctonians 4th lost 19-0 defeat at home to touring side Hull Ionians, while the under-13 gained a 12-0 win over their Worcester counterparts.
Luctonians Colts rounded off their season in style with a 36-5 victory at Old Towcestrians.
n Hereford's Jeremy Grisman took the man-of-the-match award as Worcestershire & Herefordshire fought back to claim a 29-29 draw with Shropshire in the opening match of this year's Hart-Gilmore competition.
He claimed a try and three conversions, with the other points coming from Malvern winger Rob Young, two tries, young Hereford lock Rob Atkinson, one try, and Droitwich centre Sasha Hobbs, one penalty.
n Hereford came out on top in the Greyhound annual 10-a-side tournament and beat Bredon Star 27-0 in the final after coming through the round robin stages.
Greyhound just missed out in the Plate final with a 15-12 reverse against Bewdley.
