MOBILE muggers mobbed a Hereford man to make off with his wallet. The three thugs escaped in the car that brought them to the scene.
The victim had just been dropped off in Ledbury Road by a taxi when the attack occurred on Saturday.
He was heading towards Whittern Way at about 2am when his attackers got out of a red estate car. They grabbed him to snatch his wallet and got back in the vehicle before being driven off toward Bartestree.
Police are searching for three suspects who carried out an actual attack, and two accomplices thought to have stayed with the vehicle.
