A CHAPEL near Ledbury that was of great significance in the early history of one religious group has celebrated its restoration.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) was invited to re-dedicate the Gadfield Elm Chapel on Easter Sunday.

It had been opened in 1840 but has remained closed to the public for the last 150 years.

It will be used for meetings and will act as a museum of Mormon History in the UK.
