BRIDGE CLUB
TWENTY-TWO pairs took part in an 11 table Mitchell movement event at the Club on June 14. There were joint N/S winners, Janet Holder & Paul Clayburn and June Homes & Warwick Ackland both scoring 55.79. Other scores were: Mira & John Davies, 55.32; Malcolm Dorsett & Brian Kingsley, 54.17. In the E/W direction, Jean & Alan Groves were runaway winners with 65.05. They were followed by: Judith Chamberlain & Irene Culcheth, 61.11; Jill Hunter & Mary Anne Reay, 52.55; Jean & John Tomlinson, 52.08
Members are reminded that the next Teams competition will be held on the July 5.
