QUEEN Elizabeth High School pupil Jonathan Dickson recently won the Hereford and Worcester County Junior Boys 100m championship.
He represented the county in the Mason Trophy and came fifth.
He is hoping to improve his winning time of 12.4s to gain the qualifying time of 11.8s for the All England Championships later in the season.
To improve his already fast start he has been sponsored to buy new starting blocks by Hydro Automotives and Queen Elizabeth HS.
