TOR Brewer, from Hartpury, Gloucestershire, who has grown up living next to Hartpury College was placed third at the Yorkshire Post National Young Rider Champion-ships held at Bramham, Yorkshire.
Tor, aged 20, is currently based at home in Hartpury where she competes horses. She is a member of the Ledbury Pony Club.
She also finished in third place at this event last year, and since then has gone on to be a member of the silver medal winning British Team at the 199 European Young Rider Championships.
The British Young Riders Programme encourages eventing competitors who are aged between 18 and 21.
The series takes the form of a winter training programme, selection trials and a final trial to represent Great Britain in the 2000 European Young Rider Champion-ships, which are being held at Hartpury College from August 23-27.
