A marquee still up from a Stoke Lacy wedding provided the perfect venue for a fundraising event for three local charities.
On Saturday, June 11, the marquee had been filled with guests for the wedding reception of Bridget Bufton and Philip Mackereth at Hill Acre Farm.
The following day, it was again filled for the "Music for a Summer's Evening" event, which raised £600, to be divided between Pencombe Primary School, Stoke Lacy Church and Little Cowarne Church.
Event spokesman John Caiger, of the Old Rectory, said: "Brenda and Ev Bufton allowed the use of the marquee for fundraising.
"We're extremely grateful to the Buftons, It was a very nice gesture."
The concert featured hits by Glenn Miller performed by the Hereford Big Band, and around 100 people attended.
