PLAQUES are to be erected on some of Kington's historic buildings as part of a £28,500 enhancement scheme.
The money, the majority of which has come from Herefordshire Council, will also pay for new litter bins, additional street lighting and the illumination of the war memorial.
Pedestrian signposts pointing the way to the town's attractions will be erected.
