IT'S lucky Eddie is a black cat.
He had his owners in a spin after spending half-an-hour in a tumble dryer on 'hot'.
The eight-month-old has defied the odds in surviving the ordeal, which has hopefully put an end to his fascination with the machine.
He had sneaked into the dryer on spotting a rather snug-looking quilt inside. He came out bloodied and blistered.
Owner Tina Leary had rushed Eddie to the Holmer Veterinary Centre where she was told it was unlikely he would pull through.
But, after the care of staff and lots of tender loving care from Anthony and Tina Leary and their daughter Molly, the only reminder of his accident is a slightly crooked tail.
