PANTOMIME fun is returning to Garway village hall for the first time in 17 years.
Villagers are making final preparations for a comical production of Red Riding Hood - featuring Simple Simon and Old Mother Hubbard - to be staged on February 16 and 17.
They decided to revive their acting talents following the success of a pantomime in a 'rival' village.
Produced and directed by Tony Phillips, the cast has been busy re-writing their parts to make them more amusing.
"Characters include a very active wolf who meets with a spectacular death and a fairy who fancies the wolf," said Garway's Caroline Cannings, who is playing a 40-year-old fairy queen.
Red Riding Hood will be staged at 7.30pm on both days and at 3pm on February 17.
