A NEW play club has opened in Ross-on-Wye for children with disabilities.

Youngsters aged up to 19 with physical or learning difficulties - and their brothers and sisters - are invited to have fun once a month with the Marches Family Network.

Held at the Ryefields Centre in Grammar School Road on various Saturdays from 10.30am to 3pm, children of all abilities can enjoy circus antics, sports, swimming and crafts.

Marches Family Network is a registered provider of day care services and already holds play clubs in Leominster, Kington and Tenbury Wells.

The charity provides family support workers who can visit homes to offer advice on special educational needs and benefits. Parents can also use a toy and reference library.

A newsletter gives information on seminars, trips and family outings.

The Ross play days will take place on March 3, April 28, May 26 and June 23.
