SIT in the dentist's chair - but don't have a filling; listen to your heartbeat - but don't go to hospital; smell that delightful medicine - but you don't have to swallow it! It's all part of Museum on the Move's latest venture, presenting a picture of medical practice in the last 150 years in an entertaining and enjoyable way.
And the mobile museum is visiting Leominster on Friday, February 16 when it will be parked outside Leominster Library from 10am-4pm. It's full of fun things to do, look at, touch and smell, with CD-ROMs, audiotapes, video microscopes and 'discovery' boxes.
So, after the weekly shopping (or before!) why not call in and see how our forebears lived? Entry is free and there's staff on hand to answer any questions.
