FORMER Hereford Rugby Club ladies' hooker Nicola Goodwin made her senior England women's international debut as a replacement in a 50-6 victory over France at Franklin Gardens, Northampton on Sunday.
The previous day Goodwin, aged 27, played for England A who defeated Premiership All Stars 24-5 at the same venue.
It was the Worcester hooker's third England A appearance of the season and she has now represented that side on 12 occasions. She has also captained Emerging England and England Students.
Goodwin said: "I was a late call up to the bench so I didn't have much time to think about it and, of course, I was delighted when I was signalled to go on.
"After the match there was a ceremony in which I was presented with my cap."
