Leominster School nursery nurse, Naomi Harris has finally completed her sponsored parachute jump.
She has had three failed attempts to take her leap of faith because of bad weather and the foot and mouth outbreak.
Icarus parachute display team leader Dave Lewis joined Naomi on the tandem parachute ride, which saw them jump from a height of 13,000 ft. They were in freefall for approximately 40-50 seconds landing at South Cerney army barracks near Cirencester.
Naomi, who is pictured above with pupils, has managed to raise more than £1,000 for much needed improvements to the car parking facilities at Leominster infants school.
There have been concerns for a number of years about the design of the car park and about the safety of children arriving and leaving school.
Substantial funding for the scheme has been received from the local education authority but a further £7,500 is needed by the summer.
