HEREFORDSHIRE have named the same side which beat Middlesex for tomorrow's C & G Trophy fourth round clash with Worcestershire at New Road.

The line-up includes former Worcestershire players Harshad Patel, Ismail Dawood, Paul Thomas and skipper Chris Boroughs, as well as New Zealander Andre Adams.

Herefordshire hope to have about 500 supporters to cheer them on. Bryan Smith, their cricket and selection sub-committee chairman, said: "There is quite a crowd coming. We haven't got anything to lose as we have had our big day.

"After our win over Middlesex people have been saying can it happen again. Who knows? These things do happen."

Secretary Peter Sykes said: "A lot of our lads have played for Worcestershire in the past and some of them will have a bit to prove.

"Also, a lot of our committee are members at Worcester so we know their strengths and weaknesses, but exploiting that is another matter."

Their win over Middlesex was only the 11th time in the history of the competition that a lower-graded team had beaten first-class opposition.

Herefordshire: Patel, Round, Boroughs, Adams, Dawood, Edwards, Davies, Pearson, Farooque, Thomas, Cooper. 12th man: Hughes.
