SKIPPER Ian Wright will return to the Hereford United line-up for tomorrow's Nationwide Conference game at Dover Athletic (3.00).

Wright has recovered from the broken nose that kept him out of the 2-1 home defeat against leaders Stevenage last week, and should take his place in the centre of defence.

However, strikers Steve Piearce (hamstring) and Leroy May (ankle) remain sidelined, as does goalkeeper Andy Quy.

A further injury to teenage goalkeeper Lee Rudall may necessitate 10th-placed United going into the game without a substitute goalkeeper.

However, United are in the mood to bounce back to form after the players watched a video of the Stevenage defeat at training yesterday.

Director of Football Graham Turner said: "I don't think they were too despondent after watching it. We more than matched them for most of the game."

Striker Paul Fewings will be looking to find the net for the fourth game in succession.

Of the Dover game, he added: "It is always a difficult place for us to go. They are usually strong and well-organised and we need to go there with the right attitude."

United face another tough game at home to Rushden and Diamonds next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Turner plans to call a meeting between all interested parties before formulating a response to plans to redevelop Edgar Street.

Herefordshire Council chairman Terry James has suggested turning United's ground into a community sports complex.

However, the Bristol Stadium Group, who lease the ground from the council, and property company Chelverton want to buy the freehold of Edgar Street and sell it for commercial development in order to relocate the club to a new stadium.

Turner, who has met with Coun James, said: "I am not going to start talking without all relevant information.

"I hope to set up a meeting with all parties interested in the leases and then make a statement in about 10 days' time."
