FSauctions, in conjunction with Collect It! magazine, is hosting a specialist collectables charity auction to raise money for the The New York Fallen Firefighters and Rescue Workers Fund, a fund operated by the firefighters themselves. The auction will be hosted at www.fsauctions.co.uk from 11 October - 21 October.
Over 60 donated lots, from die-cast to teddies to glass and ceramics, with no reserve price including:
- From Royal Doulton, a limited edition 'fireman' character figure due to be released next year, but donated now in recognition of the charity
- A prototype from the popular and quirky Harmony Kingdom
- A one-of-a-kind vase from leading UK ceramics designer Sally Tuffin
- One of only a hundred 'Back to the Future' gift packs by Corgi
- A large vase from prestige ceramics manufacturer Moorcroft which retails at £1,400
- A stunning vase by Okra Glass, one of only 20
- A special 'Moley Smoke the Firemole' from Molenniums, created just for this auction
- A one-off colourway vase from Cobridge
- Prototype 'The Owl and the Pussycat' candle extinguisher from top quality porcelain makers Bronte worth around £1,000
- A one-of-a-kind Tony Morris charger from Poole Pottery
- Teddies from Steiff, Merrythought and Dean's
Plus many other pieces which have been signed specially for this auction by artists and designers.
