The Courtyard enhances its reputation as a venue for smaller, more intimate theatre when it welcomes the Ramshackle Theatre Company to its studio space on Saturday, November 3.
The double-bill of two-handers stars Kevin Tillett, well known to Courtyard audiences as a popular and versatile performer and Fional Angwin, renowned storyteller and actress from the north-west.
The first half of this extraordinary double-bill, Breugel, is the story of Flemish painter Pieter Breugel and an exploration of how the stormy and frightening events of the Reformation influenced Breugel's life and work.
The second half, Last Things, revolves around an elderly couple of actors who wake up and find themselves dead. They look back over their lives and sacrifices they made for their art and decide how to take their 'final curtain'.
Breugel and Last Things is at The Courtyard at 7.45pm. Tickets: the Edgar Street box office on 01432 359252 or Tourist Information Centres, Hereford, Leominster, Ross and Ledbury.
