CAR WATCH -- The response to this Neighbourhood Watch scheme has been very disappointing to the organisers and local businesses that have backed the scheme financially. Very few residents' cars are carrying the yellow sticker. This scheme benefits the village, and property is still being stolen from garden sheds and break-ins are occurring throughout the district. Strange cars would be much easier to spot if they were the ones without the yellow sticker. If any villagers have not yet received the explanatory leaflet, pad and sticker please phone Colin Row on 01989 720642 or any of the local Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators.
MONTHLY MUNCH -- The next lunch will be on Friday, November 2 at 12.30pm in the village hall. All welcome.
