Erdington 27 pts Greyhound 22
BASIC errors condemned Greyhound to a disappointing North Midlands 3 reverse in a match they should have won.
Erdington opened the scoring with a converted try, but Greyhound replied with a penalty from Rob Brimfield, and then the visitors pulled away with another two converted touch-downs.
Greyhound's Tim Crockett replied with a try, which was converted by Brimfield, before Erdington kicked a penalty, which opened up a 27-10 half-time lead.
Steve Greening gave Greyhound hope when he crashed over at the start of the second period, the try again being converted by Brimfield.
And although Martin Ackery also scored for Greyhound to narrow the deficit to five points, the Hereford club ran out of time.
