Hereford stuck twice in the last 10 minutes to pip local rivals Ross 2-1 in a hard-fought friendly.
Without some of the their first-team regulars, Ross were forced to defend stoutly and they were grateful to several good saves from goalkeeper Chris Harris.
In fact Harris pulled off a fine penalty save which proved inspirational to Ross who then took a surprise half-time lead when Linda Davies collected Pauline Hemmingway's through ball to score.
Hereford came out strongly in the second half, searching for the equaliser, but the city club were thwarted by some stern Ross defending. With time running out, however, Ollie Linton eventually levelled the scores and then Clare Milton grabbed a late winner.
