Leominster Town suffered yet another frustrating late postponement when their scheduled West Midlands League Division 1 South opponents Brintons, the league leaders, informed them that they were playing in a Worcestershire FA Cup tie.
All attempts to find alternative opposition failed, which meant that Leominster played only one competitive match in October, an HFA County Challenge Cup tie against Fownhope.
This Saturday they are hoping that there will be no last minute hitch when they travel to Hereford for a local derby match against Hinton.
l Waterlogged pitches prevented two Hereford senior clubs from playing.
Pegasus Juniors' had to call off their Hellenic League Cup game against visiting Gloucester United and Westfields' game at Ettingshall was postponed in time to stop them travelling to Aldersley Stadium.
