THE Friends of Herefordshire Samaritans are aiming to raise thousands of pounds during their Christmas Fair on Thursday, November 8.
This year's event, at the Chase Hotel in Ross-on-Wye, promises a variety of seasonal gifts for sale ranging from decorative ceramics and children's books to home made cakes and jams.
The Herefordshire Samaritans Centre in Berrington Street, Hereford, has 107 volunteers and costs £140 per day to run.
Proceeds from the fair will go towards meeting these costs.
