Bromyard grabbed a late equaliser in a well contested West Midlands League Premier Division local derby on Tuesday.

BROMYARD TOWN 1, WELLINGTON 1

Bromyard started the match positively but it was Wellington who carved out the best fist half chances, with Jerry Griffiths and Willie Lindesay both going close.

Wellington had the better of the early second half exchanges and after Tom Herbert fired over the bar from a good position, leading scorer Peter Wallace side footed home the opener.

It looked like being the winner until Bromyard winger Rik Halion stole ahead of his marker in the 80th minute to tap the ball in and earn the home side a valuable point.
