LEDBURY DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB
A HEAT of the winter pairs was played on October 24. Twenty-four pairs took part and the leading scores were N/S: 1, Marcus & Jean Holman 60.2%, 2, Denis Reay & Neville Shorrick 57.2%, 3, Brian Snell & David Magee 54.6% Jean Trewin & Barclay Stewart 52.7%. The E/W joint winners were Jack Lewis & Rex Plimmer and Mary-Ann Reay & Liz Fanshaw 60.6%, 3, Irene Culcheth & Judith Chamberlain 58.3%, 4, Joan Smith & Betty O'Donnell 52.1%.
Members are reminded that it is teams night on November 7.
