BROMYARD and District Local History Society is waiting to hear if its bid for Lottery funding to help create a local history archive has been successful. The archive would be housed in the Society's research and exhibition centre at 5, Sherford Street.
It hopes to hear in early December whether its application for an environmentally controlled collection of maps, photographs, local deeds and documents about houses, people and land, has been successful.
