JAMES Leighton, an 18-year-old Bromyard woodworking student, failed to win a medal in the national finals of Skillbuild 2001, held in Ballymena on October 22 and 24.
Anne-Marie Delrosa from Herefordshire College of Technology said: "Both James' teachers are pleased with his performance. He is quite young which means his can enter for the next two years, if he wants to."
