SWIFTS U 10's were back to winning ways, in a hard fought and very entertaining game against Tupsley.

LEDBURY SWIFTS 4, TUPSLEY PEGASUS COLTS 2

It was Tupsley who started the game better and deservedly took the lead on 12 minutes.

Swifts equalised on 18 minutes with an excellent move which ended in Adam Davis laying on the goal for Roy Powell. But straight from the kick off Tupsley went back into the lead.

Swifts played a lot better in the second half, with Roy Powell more dominant in midfield, Tupsley's defence was being stretched and an Ashley Nelder shot just fizzed past the post.

Swifts at last took control and created a chance at the far post for Sam Peplow to fire home the equaliser.

Then good work by Elliot Parsons created the third goal when his shot was saved but Sam Crichard poked the ball home. Swifts secured the win in the last minute through Crichard.

Swifts are at home again tomorrow (Saturday) to Lads Club Colts, in the Mailes Cup Third Round, 11.30am kick off.
