A LATE goal condemned Ross to only their second Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Division 1 reverse of the campaign.
The margin of defeat would have been greater but for a superb goalkeeping display by Craig Edwards, who made a string of saves.
Indeed Edwards was beaten only in the 82nd minute following a lapse of concentration by the Ross defence which ended with the lively Paul Day scoring after the goalkeeper had made two magnificent stops.
l Previously, Ross bowed out of the Hellenic League Cup with a 2-0 defeat at higher-graded Carterton Town.
