A roadside vigil was being held all this week by fields at Preston Wynne, in protest against genetically modified crops, which are being grown there as part of a Government trial.
Protestor Julia Goldsmith, of the Herefordshire GM Free Register, said: "The idea of the vigil was to draw attention to the fact GM crops are being grown in Herefordshire, in our backyard."
The protestors are planning similar vigils in Worcestershire, as part of a month of action during November.
