MEASURES to prevent Hallowe'en intimidation in Bromyard are to be put in place by the police before next year's celebrations.
Beat officer PC John Meek said there had been several complaints about large groups of costumed trick or treaters.
He said: "We had quite a few incidents reported to us, mainly about teenagers and above causing problems. They were being quite aggressive in trick or treating, knocking on doors and being full of themselves intimidating elderly people."
PC Meek added that officers intended to interview some of the young offenders and would be putting on more patrols next year as well as distributing window stickers for residents who wanted to make it clear they did not want trick or treaters at their door.
