Bromyard mayor Joan Dauncey has expressed her surprise that Herefordshire Council denied planning permission for a proposed single storey dwelling at 40 Church Street, Bromyard. At a meeting of the town council's planning committee she said: "The last plan for a bungalow we thought was quite nice but Herefordshire Council has decided to refuse it."
