Ledbury fielded a weakened team for this fixture due to injury and forced absences but the replacements performed well.

LEDBURY RFC 63pts, GREYHOUND DOG 3pts

From the start Ledbury were in control but there was lacklustre

rucking from the pack which caused a worrying amount of turnovers in the first half. The back line were marshaled well by Paul Beech who had his first game at no10 for the first team. Will Delamore had his first game back from injury and looked more like his old self.

The pack played better in the second half going about their business with added aggression.

Greyhound never gave up but didn't have the fitness or

pace to trouble Ledbury. They did finally get on the score sheet with a cheeky drop goal as a bit of consolation.

Ali Smith (2), Will Delamore (2), Dave Robinson, Paul Beech and Henry Blandford were amongst the try scorers for Ledbury.

Tomorrow (Saturday) Ledbury play Droitwich at home in the league (2.30).
