EX-SERVICEMEN in Ross-on-Wye weren't going to let a downpour of rain dampen a determination to pay their respects to the Queen on her golden occasion.
Members of the Royal British Legion, complete with standard, paraded from The Maltings to the Market House.
Also paying tribute to 50 glorious years was the town's mayor, Councillor Phil Cutter, who raised a glass for the loyal toast.
And a fine jubilee cake, with a golden crown in the centre, was cut by local MP Paul Keetch, assisted by Roz Dean.
