WOOLHOPE cricketer Howard Townson snapped up a career-best 9-19 in the 160-run triumph at Goodrich 2nd in Division 4 of the Flint & Cook Marches League.
The seamer cleaned bowled six victims and had three batsmen caught in his outstanding 11.5 over stint which rushed out Goodrich for 95.
Townson removed the first six Goodrich batsmen and was on course to dismiss the whole team - until Neville Rogers claimed the seventh wicket to fall.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwean Clive Chadani struck an unbeaten 103 in Burghill & Tillington's 41-run win over visiting Ledbury in a high-scoring Division 2 encounter.
He was supported by an innings of 73 from A Fenton.
