PEDESTRIANS are set to benefit from road works due to begin in Leominster on Monday July 1.
A shopping trip to the market town will be made much easier, particularly for parents with pushchairs and those in wheelchairs, when the new dropped crossings are installed.
The works, which will last for the whole month, are being carried out as part of a number of improvements laid out in Herefordshire Council's Local Transport Plan.
