Graduating design student, Kelly Woods, has been selected to represent Colchester Institute's 3-D design faculty at New Designers - the UK's largest graduate design event.

Held at London's Business Design Centre, it's Britain's major showcase for the future of design. Launching the careers of over 4,000 graduates from more than 100 leading UK design college, New Designers takes place between July 4 and 14.

A former student at Herefordshire College of Art and Design, Kelly's work includes a concept for 'jewellery for furniture' (pictured). The project was completed as part of the degree course BA (Hons) Art and Design - 3D design discipline and has the potential to be applied to existing furniture to give it unique style and identity.
