VANDALISM - Wanton vandalism to a precious 200 years old organ, it is reported, has led to the locking of the door of the historic church at Winforton, in the Eardisley group of parishes. And it is likely to remain locked until surveillance cameras are installed, obliging anyone wishing to inspect the church to contact the churchwardens - Doreen Payne (phone 01544 328479) or Viv Weaver (01544 327466).
