The audience at the Poetry on the Radio event on Sunday, July 7, during the Ledbury Poetry Festival, will be able to hear the first poem ever to be broadcast over the airwaves.
The poem, not being named in advance, is read by the town's most famous son, former Poet Laureate, John Masefield.
The historic recording will be one of the highlights during the Burgage Hall session, which will be hosted by BBC arts producer Julian May from 11.15am.
